Activity has slowed a bit but it is still considered a seller’s market because of supply and demand. Especially in the lower price points. With the holidays fast approaching the trend is that the inventory will continue to go down a bit more. What does this mean for sellers? This is a great time to sell your home!
On the flip side, some buyers have dropped out of the market because of an increase in rates. This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of some great lending options being offered right now (ARM loans & Grant Money) and have less competition when you buy. One thing I can tell you is that waiting for prices to come down is a mistake. Too many buyers have done this in the past, and unlike other markets, Wichita homes will continue to appreciate year after year because of our strong economy!
